Iteration3 - ci-build Australia flag

Australian CVD Risk Calculator - Local Development build (vIteration3) built by the FHIR (HL7® FHIR® Standard) Build Tools. See the Directory of published versions

Overview

The section provides an overview of the requirements for integrating the Aus CVD Risk Calculator application, Aus CVD Riski.

Where possible conformance expectations mirror the AU Core Implementation Guide. AU Core sets the minimum expectations for using HL7® FHIR®© in an Australian context and as such represents a baseline on top of which this implementation guide is formed.

The following high-level architecture diagram illustrates the interface between the CVD risk calculator application and a practice management system.

Integration Architecture

There are two main components required to integrate Aus CVD Riski:

  1. SMART App Launch Services
  2. FHIR Server

SMART App Launch Services

The SMART App Launch implementation guide defines these requirements.

Additional information specific to Aus CVD Riski integration can be found in the SMART App Launch Requirements section of this guide.

FHIR Server

Fundamental requirements are defined in the core FHIR®© specification.

Australian localisation requirements of the core FHIR®© specification are defined in AU Core and AU Base.

Additional requirements specific to Aus CVD Riski integration are outlined in the FHIR Server Requirements section of this guide.
