This profile sets the expectations for a MedicationRequest resource that can be used to populate cardiovascular disease medicine information used by the Aus CVD Risk-i application.

Profile specific implementation guidance

This profile is derived from AU Core Medication Request.

It additionally requires medication information to be represented using the Australian Medicines Terminology (AMT). This is done either by supplying an AMT coding with MedicationRequest.medicationCodeableConcept, or reference a CVD Risk Medication resource with MedicationRequest.medicationReference.
